What’s the proper torque specification for installing my optic?
Torque the optic mounting screws to 15 inch-pounds using blue threadlocker for optimal security. This specification applies to Holosun optics and most RMR-pattern red dots.
Can I use this mount on my compact pistol with a 407K or 507K?
No. The K-series optics use a different mounting footprint based on the Shield RMSc pattern with a smaller form factor. This mount is designed exclusively for the full-size C-series optics. You’ll need a K-series-specific Picatinny mount for those models.
